Everything about it seems ok. Not spectacular, but acceptable. I believe the stated battery capacity. Mine does heat up, but I don't think it's something I would want inside my sleeping bag while I am in it, all the straps and buckles. I figure it would work ok for preheating it.

Never heated up, did not to return, cut it open to look at it only three wires that would never heat up anything.please do not buy this product.

Lightweight, comes in a pouch with "backpack"-style straps. Plastic on one side, soft plush on the other. A weather-resistant battery pack heats the pad quickly, albeit a bit unevenly. I'm careful not to fold or lie on top of it, to avoid overheating in areas. Great for tucking into your sleeping bag to pre-warm it before climbing in, or even for use as light heat therapy, like a heating pad, after hiking. I'm not sure how long it will last, but it's handy to have.
