Pre-assembled Heat Cable for Pipe Freeze Protection
HEATIT heating cable was designed and manufactured only for the purpose of preventing water pipes from freezing.
- Suitable for water-filled plastic (including PEX) or metal pipes.
- 120 volt, 7 watts/ft. Built-in thermostat to turn the cable 37โ on 50โ off.
- Both CSA and ETL approved.
Reliable
- ETL and CSA approved. Tough XLPE as inner insulation and weather-resistant P (high-low temperature) as out jacket.
- Ingress Protection 65. Approved for water-filled rigid plastic pipe and metal pipe.
Easy to install and use
- 120 volt, 7 watts/ft.100% screen rate with the Aluminum foil and tinned copper braid.
- 2 ft 18/3 cold lead with grounded plug.
Energy-saving
- Built-in thermostat to turn the cable 37โ on 50โ off.
- for lower temperature protection, maximum 1/2 in fiberglass insulation should be used over the heating cable.
