I was actually pretty impressed with the welds on this, very clean. It seems very well put together, and it's very well polished. It's quite striking to look at, in fact. I shudder to think what a hundred thousand miles and all the elements will do over time, but right now it looks just fantastic. The locks seem to be very secure as well, which I'm glad for. The locks have covers over them, but I highly recommend giving them a little squirt of spray lube every 6 months to keep them moisture and thus rust free.The steps have a TON of bite, there's no way you can slip on them, so it should be pretty safe to use even when the weather isn't ideal. I'm quite happy with that.If you went to a truck supply you'd probably pay $750 (or more) to have this put in. This is the definite way to go. 5 stars.

Top step was dented a bit, lid was put on a little crooked. Would be ok with this if cost was a little less. For the price wished there were no flaws.

This Tool-Step Box by TBozz is a great quality step box. It has a good thickness in the aluminum sheets. I like the fact that the steps are that punched through tread that acts as a mud matt. This keeps the inside of the truck a lot cleaner. The inside of the box has a good amount of space for its size. It would be nice if the bottom steps had a little more depth, but I guess you trade that for box size. Installation is straight forward and not hard. Overall, I think its great quality, but it could be a little more competitive as far as pricing.
