Perfect size and quality for our stacked washer dryer. Vibration from washing machine used to be felt from 2 rooms away while we were in bed. Now, with these great little pads, we feel zero vibration from the washing machine. Highly recommend!!

Used these beneath an A/C condensing unit that had become very loud outside our house, and they reduced the vibration that had come through our walls considerably. They are quite effective.

This is a quality product that does the job, especially for larger vibrations and heavier equipment. The only problem is it smells like car tires and off-gasses even months after purchase, so I would only use this outdoors or somewhere air quality was not a concern.

I live in an apartment and needed a solution to dampen the vibrations of my 3D printer so it wouldn't bother my neighbors. I cut these in half and double stacked them under each corner of my 3D printer to reduce vibrarions. They work pretty well and have definitely reduced the amplitude of vibrations which pass through the floor and wall. As other reviews mention, they smell very chemically at first, but the smell eventually goes away. Worth the purchase!

I purchased these pads to absorb vibration, but not from a washing machine or dryer. I record a podcast and use a fairly decent microphone that stands on my desk. The problem is, the microphone picks up the vibrations from my desktop computer tower, which is situated under the desk. I needed something to absorb the vibrations being caused by my computer.I purchased a set of four of these pads. The first thing I noticed is how bad they stink. The odor is very pungent. I washed them in dish detergent and then air dried them outside in the sun. (Sunlight can sometimes kill odors.) The pads still smelled bad. I then took one and put it in a cloth bag, and placed that under my microphone. I put the other three under my desktop PC tower. While recording my podcast, I could still smell the stinky rubber of the pad that was under my microphone -- even though it was in a cloth bag. Ultimately, my idea did not work, and my microphone still picked up the vibrations from my PC.Perhaps these are good for absorbing heavy vibrations from a washing machine or dryer, but they didn't absorb or muffle subtle vibrations of a computer. And no matter what I tried to do, I could not get these to stink any less.I ended up returning the pads. The seller subtracted $4 from my refund to compensate for the return shipping. Oh well, I got to try these for $4 but at least I'm not out $20.

I have some of these pads and also the type with cork in the middle. Both are really good and do the job. The key factors are the treads that face in different directions top and bottom, and a vibration-absorbing material in the middle. These larger (6x6) pads are good for larger equipment. I have these under an exercise machine. Be kind to your neighbors or other household members and get some. Whether it's a stationary bike, a fan or portable air conditioner, washer/dryer, etc. it really makes a difference. Just put your hand on the floor after you put the equipment on the pads -- you won't feel the vibration going into the floor anymore. These were a great buy.

I really liked these noise cancelling vibration pads!I live in the 2and floor in an apartment building and have a portable a/c .The floors are wood so the a/c would make a lot of noiseHad to turn it off in the night because it would interrupt sleepBut with these the vibration has stopped! They do have the scent of brand new tires (that rubber smell)But dip them in some bleach with soap let them soak and the smell dies downOr maybe even vinegar

Heavy easy to install pads. The problem is that the vibration is not completely eliminated.
