I've ordered these twice now, one is still going. They're not like stock gears as they have a triangle pattern that the locker mounts into so aftermarket lockers are out of the question unless they match that pattern. This photo was after one run and honestly looks like the ring was not centered into the locker based on the wear pattern and chipped teeth. I checked the other set which has way more miles on it than these and they're still going strong without wear or chipped teeth. Maybe a housing? Maybe an issue with the locker? Not sure, but they're cheap enough to take a chance on.

I bought these gears to replace front diff in scx10ii trail honcho and they work but there is a little play in the mesh.

You have to make these gears work properly you can't just put them in and expect them to be smooth. You need to buy some shims for the bearings that hold the carrier and the pinion and shim them properly.

Good looking gears. Enough shims for correct mesh and 3bolt lockers. They have tooth numbers on both the ring and pinion which is nice. For the price they seem very good.

I’m impressed with the durability of this gear, having it in my front AR44 axle, this gear has held up to tons of abuse, that being a few small jumps, hard pinches, crucial drop ins with a few hard bonds I’ve had my truck in, I did shim both axles and so far so good! 20% overdrive is also a huge upgrade from the stock bevel. I’ve already bought another one for my Capra axles.

Does not mesh correctly tried two sets put in without shim and it grinds put a small shim in and it locks up
