If you've ever had that door that just won't stay open or closed this is tool for you. The traditional way of adjusting (bending) door hinges is not difficult but this tool makes it effortless. You may have to practice to get those hinges perfect, I recommend small adjustments for sure.

Makes it so simple to adjust a hinge top stop a door from sticking, first though make sure the screws are seated well and not loose as that can also cause the same problem.

I had high hopes for this hinge adjustment tool, but it was a disappointment. I tried using it on several doors that weren’t closing correctly, and it didn’t make any difference. Instead, it ended up marring the door frames, which was incredibly frustrating. In the end, I just used a crescent wrench, which worked far better. Save your money and skip this tool—it’s not worth the hassle or the damage it can cause.

My front door needed adjustment because it was no longer hanging square in the opening and binding on the door frame. I ordered this to adjust the hinges. It definitely worked but was larger than I expected. Seems like it would work better on heavy duty door hinges like what you'd see in a commercial building. I probably could have just used a pair of channel locks to adjust my hinge. But this thing worked for the task so I am happy with it. It's sturdy so if you do work on commercial doors this thing will work great!

Don't know how it happened or why, but one of the outside doors got misaligned and was hard to open. Used this tool to experiment with some minor tweaks and got it opening and closing a little easier. Should have thought of something like this earlier as I was loosening screws and shimming the hinges which only works when there is extra room in the frame. Anyways, task complete and only took a couple minutes.

Went ahead and grabbed this one because it looked well-made and I was so confused about the sizing from all the listings I looked at that I figured I'd just pick something and see what happened. It works! That said even the small end was too big for even the heaviest exterior doors at my home. Still got the job done, but something that fit better would definitely be recommended.Pros:Well made - heavy dutyLooks goodEach end is labeled with the size they're meant forCons:The use of "standard" size door in the listing is confusing. Standard size for industrial locations perhaps? But definitely not standard residential size. This is absolutely sized for non-residential doors.Can damage door jambs if you're too aggressive. I did end up cracking one of mine. In fairness it's on an old door I'm planning on replacing ASAP anyways because everything with it is so old and disintegrating, so I wasn't exactly being careful. It also was already in very bad shape, so easier to damage than normal. It did not damage the jamb of the old interior door I used it on. I was being more careful with that one. If you go slow and use caution you should be able to use this tool without doing unintended damage.
