I have an 89 bmw and the headliner around the mirror has been falling down for years and nothing I’ve tried actually worked until now. This can is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. It’s now been a few months in this hot Florida weather with high humidity at times and the headliner has been solid this whole time. Have windows open while using and cover up what’s underneath to protect from messes

Works just fine, I used a spray paint can nozzle and it worked alright. But a bit annoying that it didn’t show up with a nozzle.

So I have a 25-year-old car: 1999 Escort ZX2. It has under 55,000 actual miles so with proper care it could be around for quite a while yet. The headliner started coming loose at the back just above the rear window due to shrinkage about 5 year ago which I managed to keep in place with upholstery pins. This year it did the same thing in the front just above the windshield and the back bit came loose again. I've been looking for a better solution and ran across this.Now, I'm not going to say this easy. You need to ensure the foam pad beneath the headliner (seriously, what is that even there for?) is removed as completely as possible because this adhesive will NOT stick to it. It would be like trying to glue tile to dirty/dusty concrete. Be sure to apply to both the headliner and the roof panel to get the best adhesion. Additional recommendation: tape off your windows with paper or plastic and lay an old sheet or additional plastic over the seats/floor in case of mistakes. As the old saying goes: An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. Or something. The nozzle is adjustable and the foam does come out in a pretty controlled manner but better safe than sorry.This has made a world of difference. I no longer have loose headliner flapping in the breeze when I'm driving down the road. My car sits outside--no garage, sadly--and we've had some pretty warm days here this summer. So far, the headliner is holding firm. I couldn't be more satisfied with this product.

Sticky webs of headliner holding goodness. THis is not an instant bond and will require some weight or tension while ti sets up. Otherwise all good and finished product is good to go. No complaints.

I used to be in the headliner business so I know these types of glues very well and which ones are good and which ones are not so good. Back in the day we used to buy the industrial grade 3M headliner glue spray and I have to say this particular spray glue compares very well to the 3M quality.In fact it is so sticky and effective that we've actually used it for other scenarios that required glue and it was easier to use this spray-on glue then a tube type glue. And it dries very quickly so be ready to apply your pieces together!Even if you're not installing headliners you'll definitely find this glue useful for many different applications.
