The rope its self is a decent quality rope. I however didnt realize that it only has a ring at the end and no fastener. So unless you add one there is no way to hook it to a halter. Obviously one can be added and I had some laying around so not a huge deal for me. If you didn’t have one you’d be out a few bucks to buy that to add to the rope.My only product concern is the metal piece that “crimps” the end to the ring. It seems less than sturdy. However I’ve bot put any extreme force to it to test it.

The rope itself is of good quality. Well braided, strong, durable, nice width and long. It is pliable and soft on the hands. I love the loop concept you could add a snap to use it as a regular lead line it does not come with that but the circle end will allow fast catch on any animal. Horses could make a quick halter on the fly with this, grab the dog, goat or any other animal. My only issue was the metal clasp holding it together had some sharp burs as well as the end. Dealing with any animal that may pull it through your hands rapidly you do not need anything that can potentially cut or injure either. My husband was able to take off the burs and crimp the metal tight. Hopefully this was a one off. I really do like it and think its a good product to keep on the farm, in the trailer or on the fence for all your animal/livestock needs.

This does not have a Bull Snap, only the brass ring. It will have to be modified to use as a traditional horse lead rope.As far as the rope itself it is good quality.

This lead rope appears sturdy and well-made. The material is a soft nylon, making it gentle on the handles. The textured rope provides a solid grip. It's easy to hold and maneuver. I personally prefer thicker leads when leading horses for added comfort and grip. Overall, this lead rope is a dependable choice.

This is a great lead rope. It's very strong and sturdy. I expect to get many years of use from this. We occasionally have to use a lead to move our animals in pasture and this works beautifully. I like the dark color as it hides dirt and doesn't look scuzzy all the time.

Needed some nice strong rope to prevent some greenhouses from falling over in high winds. I know that's not what this rope was intended for, but hey, what the heck. It is strong enough to hold them in place, so I have no doubt it can do that for you too.

Bought this rope with the intension of installing a handle on some buckets that didn't come with handles. It's nice and thick; easy to use. Would buy again.

This is a nice, simple lead rope, nothing overly complicated about it. I like that the end of the rope had a little plastic cap to keep it from fraying, though I imagine that will pop off and get lost at some point working with a horse. The ring at the other side feels solid enough. The rope fibers are soft and flexible, but also slick in the hand. If you don't have a good grip, it might slip right through your fingers. It's also not a thick rope, so if you have a particularly spirited horse, I could see this rope being a little less than perfect for leading them. The color seems like it is throughout the material of the fibers, not dyed, so it doesn't come off or stain.
