I guess I just never thought to look. There is no snap, so it is pretty much a 10' piece of rope with a metal ring at the end. On the plus side it is a good strong 5/8" nylon rope with the ends heat sealed so it won't fray, and the company does offer a nice arrear of colors. I guess I'll out to the barn and see what I can dig up for a snap.

A bit misleading calling it a lead rope because it doesn't have a snap, just a ring. But it does say that in the description.I took one star off because you'll need to buy a snap to make it useful.Other than that is good quality 5/8" nylon with a brass ring. Measures 10' in length.

This is a nice rope. I plan to keep it in my car for emergency use for animals or a rescue situation. I took off one star because the color is a much more intense blue than the photo shows and the description mentions a carabiner which did not come with the rope.

This is a good, colorful nylon lead rope with lots of uses. The nylon is soft to hold, and the rich turquoise color matches well with my horse's other turquoise gear. I like the o-ring at the end--it makes the lead rope very easy to use as a slip lead for goats, sheep, and large dogs, and if I need to use it as a traditional lead rope for a horse, it is very easy to add a snap at the end.The hardware is a bit flexible with great force, but for me that's a good thing. If my horse panics and gets in real trouble, I want the lead rope to fail, not strangle them. After watching my friend lose her horse from a terrible lead rope accident, I will always err on the side of equipment that will need replacing and keep my horse alive in emergency situations.If you need a new lead rope, give Prairie Horse Supply a try!

Got this for the grand daughter. She has two horses. Rope looks very nice and well made. She will like the color I am sure. It will be easy to wrap up with ribbons on each end. I would recommend it.

Exactly as expected! Well made. Nice length. Pretty color. Sturdy and tough rope, but also comfortable to the touch. Has a bit of give to it. Flexible. Very strong metal hoop and hardware. The rope material won't break or fray, and will last a long time.The turquoise color is so pretty! Great lead! Highly recommend!
