Our pizza slicer is a little too dull for my son to cut with it.And since we make pizzas often, I thought these kitchen scissors would come in handy. They did in fact do the job. He just cuts a slice off. They’re very sharp and I would recommend hand washing them. As a bonus they included about a 100 clear disposable gloves which are handy for many things. They also have a cover for the blades. I thought that was a neat idea, but I’m sure the kids will lose it!

Very useful and sharp set of kitchen shears. Just what I needed for the upcoming holidays as there are about to be many birds processed in my kitchen. They're comfortable to use, versatile enough that I can toss a few single-use utensils, and easy to store.I didn't need the gloves so I have no comment about them.Recommended!

So the scissor is not very sharp, it is a little dull but durable, I tried to cut boxes or paper, or opening boxes, didn't work so well, but I used it to cut the meat and vegetables today and it worked very well. So if you used it for only in the kitchen this might be ok for you, not for all purposes. I just hope it would last longer and not rust.

This is something I did not have and when I saw it I just had to get a pair! My mom always had a pair of kitchen scissors. She mainly used them for cutting up whole chickens as back then it seemed they were not available already cut up, but just the whole chicken. She taught me how and where to cut them and I still remember it at my 60+ years of age, but I have not done that for many years.These scissors come with a nice plastic protective shield for when you are not using them. They have multiple uses such as: scaling fish, cutting up chickens with the bones in them and other kinds of meat, and cutting veggies or herbs. Oh, and there is a nut cracker also! They also have a bottle opener built into them as well. The handles feel like they are made of plastic, but they have a comfortable grip to them. I remember my mom's scissors liked to pinch a person now and then if you did not pay attention with the metal handles they had. I tested these and there was no pinching, lol. The metal part of these kitchen scissors is stainless steel, so that is an advantage in that they will not rust.All said and done, I will recommend these kitchen scissors. They may not be as sturdy as the all metal ones of old, but for what I am using them for, they work just fine. Also it's a good deal to get the disposable food grade gloves along with the scissors, all for the same fair price!
