I purchased this leather fly swatter because I felt it probably would last me for years! Unfortunately, after using it appx 5 times the leather at the base seemed to appear as if the leather could break and the whole swatter would come off. The stitching is also badly done...you can view in the photo it is crooked and appears to be burned at one end...but, I think that may be where they seared the end so the thread wouldn't unravel.

I know this sounds stupid, but this is legit the best fly swatter I’ve ever had. I was able to kill a wasp out of the air with this swatter. It’s heavier than the plastic ones which gives you more power, plus it looks way nicer. 10/10.

There was only one reason that I wanted to get a fly swatter with a wooden handle, and that is because the ones made from wire bend so easily. Problem solved here!! If you want to smack some flies, but you're tired of wearing out the cheap ones at the store then this fly swatter will do the job!

I've acquired a few nice fly swatters this year. This is my first with the stiff wooden handle. It looks nice, but the wire handles seem to give you more swatting force for sure. It's really a matter of preference. Whichever handle you prefer, if the swatter head strikes an insect, it will most likely be mortally wounded.This swatter is a little on the short/small side, but looks nice and it is functional. The leather swatter is riveted to the handle. My only real complaint is that mine arrived with a 1-2" long cut on the surface of the finished side of the leather. It's purely cosmetic, and after smacking a few bugs with it, I'm sure it will matter less and less.

Super strong I never miss now that I have this. I don't know why I messed with the wire swatters for as long as I did. I will never go back to another swatter.

My wife ordered this and I was surprised it works as well as it does. I'd believed swatters needed to have lots of holes so air would go through the swatter and not blow the fly out of the line of fire. When I first got this, I thought there were not enough holes, but it seems to work just fine. She ordered it because we go through a lot of those wire/plastic swatters, which bend at the hand or brerak off the swatting part. This is a wooden handle with a heavy leather swatter. Should last a very long time.
