This thing survived a government classified disaster of a windstorm at our cabin. Not kidding sections of roof, chimneys, 100 foot trees came down. This thing hung on, hung onto the umbrella, did not budge. Definitely recommend! We have it on a metal railing attached to the deck.

War leider für unsere Sonnenschirm nicht geeignet da zu gross, das lag aber nicht an Produkt, sondern an mir. Sonst ist dieses Produkt qualitativ und preislich sehr zu empfehlen, würde ich kaufen, wenn ich noch mal einen grösseren Sonnenschirmständer bräuchte

I do not rate products very often but this one here is a great buy thus far. I purchased this a couple days ago and I received it last night. We installed it today to get rid of the oversized umbrella base which needed a sand bag to hold the heavy umbrella. My umbrella is double umbrella which is heavy. I’m using this heavy umbrella up in my balcony which withstands some wind but I try not to leave it open when the winds are constant and more than 8mph. I’m worried it will fall into the neighbors yard or through our window depending on the direction of the wind. As of right now we are satisfied with this purchase. If anything changes I will update my rating.

Tres bon produit - le seul reproche que je ferai est que l'accroche n'est pas tres large, et sur mon balcon il n'est pas possible de la fixer a deux barreau, mais a un seul. Neanmoins, malgre cela, la fixation est tres stable.

I was looking for an umbrella holder, but everything I was finding seemed very low quality or overly-priced.This item was EXACTLY what I wanted! It was easy to mount, easy to use, and it securely fastened to our dock and firmly holds our pier umbrella in place.Well worth the money - no brainer purchase!

We have been through too many umbrellas due to the wind knocking over the traditional umbrella stands. With these now anchored to our deck that is no longer a worry. Great quality and super easy to install. We mounted these directly to the deck posts and didn't use the extension bracket.

The plates do not have the same size holes. The holes on one plate are smaller. I could not get the screws all the way in to the second plate. To make this work, I will have to go buy smaller screws and nuts for a secure fit. Disappointing to have to make modifications. The base itself seems to be well made, but if you cannot secure it tightly, then it is really of no use.
