These are great springs if you’re looking for strength and quality than this is the product for you it has a great price point and obviously has a multitude of uses. If you’re looking at these, then you have a specific need in mind and I would say that these will pretty much accommodate just about any project you may have.

Like others have reviewed, this was ordered with the expectation that I would be receiving the swing and the price reflected that of a swing and NOT springs.That said, I can’t argue with the heft and quality of the spring. They are definitely heavy duty and heavy just from the package, so it’s reasonable to assume they work well for a swing or hammock.

I think I underestimated how strong these springs would be. I wanted something to hang up a porch swing, and these will definitely do it. They are extremely strong and well made, well worth the price!

I thought I was getting the porch swing but it was just the swing springs. I cannot say if these work well or not as I don’t have a porch swing so I cannot test them. When I clicked on the item, a porch swing was advertised and I didn’t look closely when I ordered them to see that they were just the springs. They do appear to be heavy duty but since I am not able to test them and because I thought I was getting something else I am giving this item a 1 star.

I got these to connect between the tie-downs and the ground stakes being used for our RV awning and I think they will work great. I did have to cut the open tail on one side of each of these in order to get them to fit through the hole of the ground stakes, but that is the fault of the stakes, not these springs. I hope these are never tested in a real windy situation, but they are quite firm yet have enough flex that it should prevent damage to our awning/mechanism, and I definitely appreciate the fact that they're stainless steel as they will now be out in the elements full time except the true winter months. They definitely give me some peace of mind in inclement weather.

These springs are heavy duty and a this moment they are very securely holding a new swing we got for the back yard. Stainless steel so no rusting, and they don't make squeaky sounds. The stainless steel is strong and very thick, these are not lightweight. I recommend!

I like these so much better than traditional chains or ropes for holding the porch swing. Because they're springs they offer a bit of flexibility when you sit down, rather than a hard landing on the wooden rocker.Another nice thing about these is that they're made of stainless steel, so they won't rust the way traditional hangers often do. They are quite strong & that offers some peace of mind that they can support the load of adults & the stresses of a bunch of rambunctious kids.I've debated about my opinion of the price, because they seem rather high priced at about $9.00 apiece. But if you consider that they're constructed of stainless steel, will never rust & likely will never need to be replaced, I've concluded that the price is within reason. The springs work very well, so I'd also recommend it to others.
