All I can say is this thing is a monster. I did not expect it to be as heavy duty as it is, It is thick gauge steel tubing welded together. Assembly was fairly straightforward and could be a lot easier if you had two people as it is quite heavy. I don’t think that I could use it at its rated capacity but still was able to put a reel of cable on it weighing a couple hundred pounds. I do believe this could certainly hold one of those giant spools of cable with no problem. As I used it, I was thinking of multiple things that I could probably unwind with it, Such as a big roll PVC tubing that I have for irrigation that I need to unwind. This would be easy to use for anything on a big spool. I highly recommend this if you have a large spool of almost anything that you need to unwind because this is more than sturdy enough to handle the job

This frame is heavy duty, very solid even un-assembled, and will accommodate the biggest of rolls of wire or cabling. Recommended for utility.

Our christmas light company was looking for something to hold custom spools of Lighting wire. This spool rack is awesome. We can load 2 of our spools on here and they are about 300 pounds each. That is nothing for this rack. Quality is obviously great. Feels like a piece of equipment you would use at the gym.

This is definitely Contractor Quality. You buy this once and it last for the rest of your life. The welds are exceptional, and the metal thickness of the tube is thicker than EMT conduit but thinner than Galvanized plumbing pipe. It is really intelligent the way that they have this set up where you can separate it into two halves for easy carry in your vehicle. Using the wire spool rim as your wheel is a pretty slick concept but you must take care not to dent or damage the wood rim which will give you that square wheel effect. For smaller spools you may be able to find two red wagon wheels that will fit on the ends of extended shaft and make this work like a wheel barrel. I haven't tried it yet, but I think the concept will work. Because of the price of this unit, I was a bit skeptical, but once you see it and feel the weight of the metal you will not regret buying it.

Recently pulled new data cabling all over my house. A mix of Cat6a, Cat 5e, and Fiber. This reel buck was excellent and its large size allowed me to fit multiple spools on it at the same time.It is rather large and so not as portable as I would've liked, but it supports much larger reels which is a must for some scenarios.Very simple tool that makes pulling cable so much easier than not having it. Large, sturdy, and well-built.

This outweighs the one we were replacing 2:1 The quality is outstanding and will likely be the last one we ever need to purchase. You won't go wrong on this one.

This is a nice rack. It is easy to assemble and once together supports heavy reels easily. The width adjustment is pretty easy because it uses screw knobs. Taking it apart for movement from site to site is also easy for the same reason. When disassembled, the cross pieces fit into the left and right sides, so it is very compact.Only upgrade I am contemplating is adding some wheels to the front so we could roll it when a reel is on it.
