Bought these to add Anderson Power Pole connectors to some Samlex 12V power supplies. They worked fine. Used a nibbler to nibble the appropriate sized hole in the power supply.Worked best in power supplies without meters, so could install on the front faceplate. Had to install on the rear for power supplies with meters. Was a tight fit but worked.

This connector mount is excellent, however, it should have come with the locking pin the properly hold the connectors in place. An annoying inconvenience for me but others may find it difficult to obtain.

This is an excellent replacement for the Anderson Power Pole housing that you can buy fully assembled. There is a weak point where it flexes at the aft portion of the housing. Not a problem if you don't have to remove it once its been assembled in whatever box you are using. However, if you get heavy handed, it will crack where it flexes and not be held in tight. Not to fear, THIS is an exact replacement. All you need to do is remove it from whatever housing you have it installed in, remove the roll pin locking the power poles in place, and then power poles just slide right out. Reassemble in the new housing and you are good to go!

When you're putting four Anderson Powerpoles into this, it's important to have the pins included to lock them in place - I had to find another supplier that sells these with the pins - a little disappointed...

Save a bunch of dough by making your own connector for power poles. I inserted this connector in a 12 volt battery box and added 2 power poles for my amateur radio go kit. The power poles insert easily into the connector. Important info… to retain the power poles in the connector, I had to insert a small piece of wire from an old metal coat hangar and slide it through the power poles. Not a big deal, but it would be helpful if a small piece of stiff wire and some instructions were included with the connector to ensure a secure connection.

Well made, but you will need retaining pin to secure power poles in connector. Great deal roll your own and save a ton over premade connector.

I couldn't bring myself to pay $24 for the round panel mount. Like others, I was a little confused how to mount the power pole connectors in it. Once you have the 4 connectors in place you slide a pin down through all 4. You can see the top of the pin in the photo. I used a fairly stiff coat hanger and cut it to length. In my case the orange plastic case holds the pin in place, but thinner material might need some glue or something to secure the pin. The tighter the fit the less the connectors will wiggle around. These are well made of quality plastic (stamped with Anderson Power Products).

The specifications sheet is pn 1470G1 and all the info is on the the Powerpole web site. Cut out is 1 inch X 1.25 inches with panel depth of 030-.134 inches. No mystery..they work great and are inexpensive.
