Theses boots were for a 96 Ram 12v cummins. Trim to fit, is the understatement of the year. The material is 3x thicker then the original boots. But almost impossible to get bent into place. Had to cut off 4 inches on the narrow end and 3 inches on the wide end. The bend is not nearly the correct angle. There is no flexibility to get them bent enough to squeeze between the intercooler inlet pipe and the turbo feed line. They are way too rigid and stiff to push past the clamp ridge on the turbo pipe to slide up enough to get lined up with the intercooler inlet. The clamps are total junk. They are to large to tighten securely and flimsy. I ended up using the straight sections but had to use the old elbows to get the truck back on the road. The price was good, but when they don't work as intended it was a waste of money and time.

The four stars is because they sent me these parts in a plastic bag. The delivery process ripped a hole in the bag, lost some hardware and bent some clamps pretty bad (not entirely their fault, but could have been packaged better aka a box). I contacted these guys and worked with them. They wanted to compensate me with a small refund but I just needed some hardware. All I really needed was one of the clamp springs and they agreed to send it with no charge. Surprise to me, in my mailbox was an entire new set of clamps sent in a bubble wrapped package! None of the clamps were smashed and all of the hardware was there. Highly recommend for the price, other big name kits were around $300. The boots are thick and feel durable and tough. Just the way I like it.

Honestly I will fully admit for the price I didn’t think they’d last. I have a 97 12v Cummins pushing over 60psi. They hold up to the pressure everytime. It’s a tight fit getting them on and there about 1/2” to long but they still fit and work great. I definitely would recommend

I purchased these for my 98 12V Ram and they were a direct fit.Compared to some of the mainstream diesel vendors, these inter-cooler boots were at least half the price!I was concerned about the quality at the price quoted but these are the real-deal and should last a very long time.I do however wish the clamp bolts were slightly shorter as they tend to stick out further than I prefer when fully tightened. None the less, for the price, I can deal with it.When installing I would recommend using a very light coat of grease on the inside of the boot ends to make assembly much easier.I highly recommend these for folks looking to update their inter-cooler connections.

Bought these for my 2001 Cummins. These boots are much thicker and go on very tight. I would suggest leaving them in the sun or warming them up some other way to possibly make them go on a bit easier.

Much thicker then stock and seems to be of good quality. They fit pretty snug and some trimming might be required. I had to trim mine to get them to fit the way I wanted. Overall they are pretty good

Unbelievable product for the price. I was very impressed with not only the thickness and rigidity of the actual boots, but the supplied bands as well. I was in the process of replacing several other components on my 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.9l 12 valve Cummins when I noticed that the inner fender on both sides has rubbed a huge wear line in my old intercooler boots, a flaw that I found was very common in the 2nd generation Ram trucks. Here are a couple tips to help you out:-Make sure you have a 10mm deep well! I also used at 10mm ratchet wrench in the harder to reach areas.-Steal some Dawn or Ajax dish detergent from the kitchen to use as lube. You'll thank me later and the soap will dry out and not affect the boots at all.-Enusre the boots are seat properly and verify that the clamps are sitting flat on the boot and not canted, this can cause the clamp to dig into the boot and cut or wear the boot over time.-When you remove the old boots you will notice the flange on the inner fender that cuts into the boots, take a pair of channel locks and bend that flange down and away from the boots to prevent future failure!
