I have a used older cargo container. There is a lock box on the container but the box is to long and makes it hard to unlock during the winter when its below zero. This devise works really well and easy to use. I wish the rubber lock cap was better. That's why I gave this product a 4 start.

This lock is a piece of junk.The design and concept is great.However, the circular locking mechanism is not connected to the locking bars. The lock continuously falls out of its hole and winds up fallen in the dirt. The lock also tends not to work well in locking the bars together due to its not being solidly attached to a bar.Also before we found out that the lock and unit was junk, we went to two professional lock shops to get extra keys made for the lock. Neither could make us extra keys.If you buy this piece of junk, you also will be stuck with only two keys!Nice idea but not worth buying!

Make sure to measure distance between container door struts. This items is not long enough.Strong hefty metal...just too short. Vendor needs to add note about extension dimension of lock mechanism.

Makes locking up easier than the old one that had a padlock that you struggled to lock back up. Don’t know if thieves just have to drill into this key hole but hopefully never find out
