Purchased this in 2020 and it is still in use everyday. It's light weight and easy to remove when necessary. Otherwise it stays in place and holds crates in place. Simply a quality item.

Works great on my Santa fe xl SUV to keep grocery bags and stuff in place. My trunk mat is a bit slippery so this is a game changer. Everything stay in place and doesn’t need to be tight too much (dont do or could damage the plastic trims inside the car). I can see other use like to keep in place 4 tires from moving in the trunk when you get install the summer/winter tires at dealership. Also on vacation to keep the stuff in place when there is a pile of gears up to the roof!

After reading reviews for several different products similar to this one, I finally settled on getting this one for my truck. For the most part, I really like it. It is sturdy enough to do the job well and is exactly what I needed. It looks good and works. The only reason that I took off a star on this product is that, at least in my pickup, it has a tendency to come undone over time due to the design. Let me explain --To install this bar is simplicity itself -- you expand it to closely fit the truck using the ratcheting mechanism, locking it into place when the bar fits the bed width. You then rotate the bar to screw out the rubber pads on each end to lock the bar into the bed using the pressure of the rubber pads against the sidewalls of the bed. Overall a simple and effective system. The one downside for which I removed a star is that the bar has a tendency to slowly rotate and un-screw itself which slowly reduces the pressure of the rubber pads against the sides that is holding it in-place. Eventually, the bar starts to slip on one side or the other and then will not perform the task for which it was purchased. If this bar had a locking mechanism that would allow me to lock it so that it would not rotate it would definitely rate 5 stars. As it is, the bar is good quality and has all of the other features that I wanted. It comes undone slowly enough that if I tighten it up occasionally it works fine but that is one annoyance that could easily have been fixed with a simple design change to add a lock ring or other method to lock it in place.
