I've bought several variations of this set.The keys all seem to work (as far as the ones I've had the opportunity to try out)I work part time at a heavy equipment rental yard, and I've been trying the different keys on different equipment, and labeling them so that I know which ones are which.It can be a bit overwhelming to find the correct key, ans most of them are not marked, but if you've got the time, the key is probably in this bunch.Like most, I don't necessarily have a use for all of these keys, but the simple fact that it's available as a set made me want them. Maybe someday if a zombie apocalypse comes, I'll be the most popular guy on the block because I can start all of the excavators and bulldozers....

Woo-hoo! I can't wait for the zombie apocalypse! Because even though it will be awful, the total destruction of social order, and wide spread chaos, will be my chance to take all sorts of construction equipment on a joy ride. Why be a gloomy Gus? Especially when you can look on the bright-side of the end times. Man-lifts for reaching high spots, front-loaders with buckets that have high zombie-scooping capacity, tractors . . . I mean, holy cow, just because life as we know it is over, doesn't mean you can't have a good time.I don't even know what equipment these keys operate, but its gonna be fun to find out!These keys are bright and shiny and the set includes an assortment of key rings, mini-cables, and a clip for keeping them handy in one easily accessible collection. I have my set waiting in my go-bag.You might think that keeping these keys on hand isn't worth the effort, but you see, just knowing that you have them, even if you never actually use them, you can still, at the very least, like me, savor the anticipation, all day and every day. So far I've tried about 10 of these and they've all worked. I've specifically got them for locks outs. The cat, case, deere, Ford and Volvo keys have worked. Can't speak for the others.

So, I do penetration testing, and am familiar with bypassing or compromising locks.... but the right key is considerably easier to use, especially in a stressful, time-sensitive and/or emergency situation. This is a nice selection of keys for various pieces of heavy equipment you may find nearby and have need for in a WWIII, Zombie Apocalypse or other bizarre situation.Is it enough to handle everything you might need? Of course not. But it's a good set with at least some of the keys sourced from the original manufacturer or very well replicated. As far as I'm concerned, it's excellent cheap insurance to go in a bug-out bag.
