This black metal shelving system is okay. I didn't want to have it be all one unit, I wanted to split it into two units. Like how in one of the listing pictures shows two shorter units, with stuff on 3 shelfs. Well that is impossible with this kit since only has 5 shelf pieces, not 6, so you you split it, you won't have two identical shelf units.It came with white cloth gloves, so you can tear them up on the sharp corners and get them dirty. Or wear proper gloves to protect your hands. It came with a tiny hammer that was equally as useless, I used my own normal sized rubber mallet. Some of the corner pieces were a little crushed, so I had to pry them open with some pliers to get them to work.The shelves do feel sturdy, and I've had no issue with putting things on them, nothing crazy heavy so far.Overall not very impressed.

Great metal shelf.Seems pretty strong so far. Holding everything just great.I love that everything I need was right in the box.The instructions could be a bit better, but that I figured it out in the end.

This garage storage shelf is incredibly sturdy and provides a lot of storage space. The adjustable wire shelves allow you to customize the height to fit your needs. The weight capacity is impressive and can hold a lot of heavy items. It's a great solution for organizing a garage or basement. While it's sturdy once assembled, the assembly process is incredibly frustrating.

Overall I liked the design of these shelves as you lock things in place by hammering it into slots rather than attaching with bolts and nuts. You don't have to worry about it loosening over time and it has a more secure and stable feel to it. Assembly would have been simple but things came bent, so I had to spend quite a bit of time unbending things so the brackets would fit. Other than that, I really like the shelves. It comes with some versatility since you can break it into 2 different shelving units or leave it as one 6 foot tall unit. Even as one unit, it is light enough that you can move it around your garage without an issue. You also have the ability to change the distance in between the shelves so that you can accommodate larger or smaller items. It says it has a loading capacity up to 2450 lbs, but I am nowhere close to that. It has no issues holding some heavy boxes and other stuff I do have on it though. I appreciate it came with a wall mount so that you can secure it and don't have to worry about it falling over. I do wish the shelves came with a locking mechanism as well rather than just sitting on the frame, so just be careful with that if moving the unit around. The shelves themselves don't look bad when assembled and placed in your garage or somewhere like that.

I needed a way to get four deep cycle batteries off my garage floor. Each weigh about 130 lbs. I figure I can give this one a try. At the time of getting this shelf, i thought it was already over priced but figured that maybe it really is that heavy duty. After getting it delivered and assembled, I was not that impressed. Yes, it works to hold four of my batteries, but considering that this is rated to hold "2450 lbs" it is well under that weight. It is stable but i am already seeing some flexing on the shelf. I will keep the batteries in the lowest rack just in case. I had expected heavier gauge steel. Some of the post were bent from shipping and i had to use a hammer and pliers to open them up again. At the original price that i got this, it does not even compare to similar storage shelf from big box stores. Hopefully, the price is adjusted to make it more competitive in the market

This is a great heavy duty shelving unit perfect for your garage or basement. This thing can really hold a ton of stuff and keep you more organized. I'm loving this in my garage for extremely heavy building materials and tools. There is zero issue with the shelves so far under the weight. Assembly is a bit of a pain, but it's not too bad. Expect the typical struggle of flat pack anything and you'll be well prepared. But it goes together quickly and is well worth the time to build it properly. This is a great piece for your storage needs in the garage or basement.

This Lauxery Garage Storage Shelf is a good strong and well built shelf for heavy items in the garage. It is easy to assemble with clear instructions and easy to put together parts. The metal parts are well made and can handle heavy duty items. The black coating is good and strong and resists scratches and chipping. The 5 shelves are wide and long enough to allow me to free up floor and cabinet space. This is a good garage shelf option.

This is a strong and sturdy shelf unit with no wobble. What captured my attention on this shelf kit was the fact that it had the option to build it as a single 6’ or two 3’ high shelves. I opted for breaking it up into two units to fit under some wall shelves I already had in place. The actual assembly is simple, but you do have to use the included hammer to drive the braced into the slotted key holes on the uprights. They are a very tight fit, but it’s the tightness that gives it the rigidity once assembled. Even without the shelves in place, the frame is solid with no side to side or twisting movement at all. The shelves simply drop in or you can secure them into place with tie wraps (not included). The shelves are made of welded 4mm rod with 2” x 4” openings. Probably the weakest part of the assembly are the plastic corner inserts. They are press fit, but I found that they were falling out as I moved the shelf around. The easy fix was to take a pair of pliers and slightly bend the upright frame edge in to create a tighter fit. When building the single 6’ shelves, the two units are tied together using plastic inserts with no screws. I can’t review how well the plastic ties work since I’m not using them. Also included are two braces that can be used to attach the shelf to a wall to keep it from tipping over.I’m very impressed and satisfied with these shelves and have already put them to good use in organizing my garage/workshop.
