The touch release mechanism is easy to operate—just apply downward pressure and the lift will stop at one of two different working heights or in the storage position. For heavier machines, a locking latch is provided to prevent downward drift. The airlift mechanism mounts to the underside of your table top and the back of the cabinet. It is designed to lift and lower a sewing machine weighing up to 50 pounds. Mechanism can be adjusted to fit most free arm sewing machines. I purchased some used horn sewing cabinets with lifts. The lifts did not work. I purchased these as replacement lifts and had them professionally installed. They work smoothly and stop as they should. These saved very expensive sewing cabinets. Great purchase. Thanks

I received the lift several days ago. It was very easy to install. It works great and I would recommend to any sower who needs a lift this is the one to buy. oh it work great oh I all ready said that.
