To ensure longer lasting use, we suggest keeping away from sharp or pointy objects. Sometimes, a residue develops on balls during shipping or storage. This residue is a natural, non-toxic, plant-based resin softener that keeps the balls soft. To remove the residue, clean balls using a rag soaked with a solution of Dawn dishwashing soap and warm water. If the ball is very oily, use rubbing alcohol. Hand sanitizer may be substituted if rubbing alcohol is not available.

Agreed worth everyone commenting on it arriving with who knows what kind of toxic slime or lubricant ALL OVER IT. I bought two of them so it's not an anomaly. I tried scrubbing one with soap and water before I inflated it and it's still got a coat of sticky slime on it. I'm not letting my kids touch this thing and will be returning it. I really want Amazon to pay for the past hour I spent trying to CLEAN A BALL so my kids can play with it and now the disappointment in dealing with because they've seen them and I'm not letting them play with these things. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT

The ball was covered in goo from packaging, got all over kids when they played and dirt stuck to it, very hard to wash off
