I really wanted these to work. My use case was not a very heavy vibrating and rocking washing machine, but instead a small wine refrigerator. I struggled with getting these placed for more than an hour and found that they were extremely unstable. I will concede that putting these on carpet made it more challenging, but I don't think that was all there was to it.The problem is that the base is too small and easily wobbles (see photo), especially when the tube is extended. I found that placing them straight up screwed down to the lower position helped some, but it was then then difficult to raise.There's no way I'd consider these for a washing machine. For that you need large, thick rubber squares with corrugated bottoms that will really absorb vibration. These plastic things, even if stable, simply can't do that.
