I was really disappointed with the Heirloom Heart Video Book. The concept is great, but the execution is terrible. The screen quality is low resolution, making videos look blurry and washed out. The sound is weak and tinny, and the battery barely lasts before needing a recharge.The biggest issue is the cheap build quality—it feels like a flimsy plastic toy, not a meaningful keepsake. The buttons are unresponsive, and sometimes the videos don’t even play properly. For the high price, I expected something sturdy and well-made, but this feels like a dollar store gadget.Save your money and look for a better digital gift option—this one is just not worth it.

Absolutely obsessed with this! This will be such a sweet gift for friends in the future. So easy to set up and love having it displayed in my house to look at easily at anytime!

Update!: I did send this back, however I bought the same book made with my video from Heirloom website and it arrived with my video installed. Im not sure why I couldnt load my video to this myself, but Im super happy I ended up giving it one last try. This book is very well made considering others on here (I bought a few when I returned this one and they all were flimsy and low quality) I would recommend this product IF you buy directly from their website. Overall, great product.Bought this for Father’s Day and had to return! I made a 3:16 min video (359 mgb) on Canva and when I went to transfer the video to the book, it said there wasn’t enough memory to hold the video!! Heirloom said this book hold 10 mins of video! It clearly doesnt! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE. I tried to find out how much memory it holds, but cant find that information from Heirloom.

I don't typically write reviews, however after my experience I felt the need to share. Upon receiving the heirloom book, I noticed the cord that was sent was not compatible with the device. I was disappointed as I was not able to upload the images to the book. Later I bought a cord and it was compatible with it and I was able to see what a great product it was. I did E-mail the support E-mail that was given which is more reason to why I'm writing. They were amazing, and really showed the compassion and dedication to their product, company, and customers. I was so impressed and it was a actual person on the other end. A family, at that. They really tried to make the situation right by overnighting a cord but they really did make the situation right with their customer service alone, so I declined the offer. I'm really glad that they give a sense of "buying local" and are able to provide the amazing service that they do.10/10 RECOMMEND.

The quality of this book is so much better than I expected!It's a hard cover book with a fully encased frame for the video player. The player connects via a USB-C cable, and all you have to do is drop your video files into a folder called VIDEO. I tested this with a H.264 MP4 video that I created at 720x1280, 30 FPS. I don't know what the exact resolution of the screen is but this looked and played just fine. The book plays the video when you open it and shuts off when the book is closed. It even seamlessly loops the playback.This is a great product. I can only conclude that the negative reviews are because people don't know how to transfer content to the card. If you know how to save video files this is a really nice player.

This product is a really nice quality and has held up well over the past 2 years. Nice quality screen and sound.The steps to get the video(s) uploaded are very easy and the instructions to do so are well detailed.Would highly recommend

I am in love with this product! My boyfriend just lost his mom a few months ago in another country. His sister had a video of her wishing my boyfriend a happy birthday last year. For some reason she didn't sent that video to him. She sent me the video to me about 2 months ago on Facebook and other videos and photos of their mother. I was able to save everything plus video his brothers and sisters to add it to the book. I'm going to give it to him this Friday. I have added so many photos and videos plus music to present the photos. You can add your own music from the mp3 on your computer. It came out amazing!!! The only thing is that I wish I could share it with his family at his country by email or something. Maybe I'm missing a step. Over all, it is easy to use.
