Bought for motorcycle application, but much too large. In fact, it's bigger than the horns on my cars. I did connect it just to see what it sounds like, and it does have a nice loud tone. It seems well put together, and is metal, not plastic like some of the others. It's also quite heavy, so mounting might pose some challenges. Not sure what application this could be used on, but the weight & size are the limitations. For function & build, I give it a 5. For application and mounting options, I give it a 3. I averaged it out to a 4 star rating.

I should have listened to the other reviewer - not very loud at all, despite being 24v - sounds like stepping on a flatulent weaselAlso: it's made in China, which explains a lot

Easy install, works, but the sound, while fairly loud is pretty wimpy (from a tone standpoint). Perhaps it sounds better with the paired high-tone (but we don't have that - only mounting point for one horn). Its a horn, it works, was easy to install, but sounds far worse than the factory installed version.

I can't believe most motorcycles come with such a whimpy horn, I was embarassed to you use the original. Not now, when I press the horn heads turn...a must have for bikers!

This is a good quality horn with moderate styling. This is good if your looking for a horn that looks good when mounted were it will be seen but wont attract to much attention.The horn sounds like a truck horn of sorts but not as satisfying as my stock horn which I still use.
