We attempted to use this Hella Timer relay to activate another 24VDC automotive relay (with higher contact ratings), and we see an issue where the HELLA relay will reset itself and continuously cycle the output. It appeared to be due to the surge created by the second relay. We thought we fixed it by adding a suppression diode to prevent spikes, but we get the same issue intermittently. It we remove the second relay that it is driving, the issue goes away. We have 4 of these HELLA relays and they randomly present this issue.
