Product performance is fantastic, exactly what it needed, now in the turns all you feel is the suspension compressing & its glorious with all the wight of my Lance truck camperProduct however was opened before I received it, The bar itself was scratched everywhere from a scummy reseller not mentioning that it was opened previously. Parts were literally everywhere & there were large holes in the box. Im honestly surprised all the hardware was even in the box.If Im paying 400+ for a car part is it too much to want it to have a nice finish?I would really like a partial refund for the damage, but its not worth the cost to ship it back when its under the truck & hardly seen as it is. Great Product for truck campers

The quality seems good I wasn’t blown away by the hardware. The directions are vague but not totally useless. You want to put the links on first so you can hang the bar from it and then put the u bolts on the housing. Get everything loosely together then adjust the u bolts to where everything has clearance then you can tighten up the u bolts. Put thought into how you want to attack it so when you crawl under the truck you have a game plan. It took me less than an hour with the help of a friend to put it on and torque the bolts. I felt it was a really easy installMy truck didn’t have a sway bar so it was night and day better. I’d say it’s worth the money, I just wish I had bought and installed it a long time ago. Hopefully it lasts a long time…

Seemed to be heavy duty. Very easy to install. Instructions from Hellwig could have been a little clearer on the angle of the axle mounting brackets. I thought the design of the link attachment to the frame was a weak design. Mounted on the side of channel making this attachment a cantilevered support which puts the single bolt in bending. That makes these two attachments the weak link in the system. Doesn't matter how much torsion the torsion bar can take, its links/bushings at the truck's attachment that governs. Would have like to see a channel bolted to the bottom of the frame so that the link is supported on both sides. Haven't driven it yet. Assume it will be better regardless since there was none to start with. Will update after driving.

Worst installation instructions ever! Look at U tube for help. I am very experienced mech. I had to re-read the install many times. Not 100% sure but if you are buying only the rear bar, go bigger. ( spend the extra $ ) I am doing both front and rear. I feel that it will control my Camper on the 2006 F350 SD shortbed much better. I only gave 3 stars due to the horrible install plan. Make note when removing the old bar as to the location and orientation. the new bracket does not have a alignment feature like the factory one does. After all said and done I spot welded mine in place. ( or i know a guy ) Call Hellwig before you buy, they can help you get the correct part #'s I had to return the 1st one. Fast shipping on the rear bar.

Please read it all to understand why I left such a low score.Package arrived in excellent time.Opened and everything looked to be there.Instructions are vague and if you are not mechanical than please watch a you tube install.I installed the sway bar on the diff as instructed.Installed the rubber grommets in the drop links. Was concerned at this time for the links seemed short.See picWent back to the advertised item on Amazon to compare the links with the pic and description.THE LINKS ARE NOTHING LIKE THE PIC.It was advertised to accommodate my truck with a 4-6 in lift.NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!The links are way to short, and the ends of the sway bar in the advertised pic are VERTICAL, mine are HORIZONAL.So at this point I should have returned the product...…Packaging information stated that no returns once install...…….I am stuck with my truck apart till the item is replaced...I decide to keep and fab my own drop links to fit, using the supplied links and steel tubes I had in my shop.I do this, install onto truck and go to bolt the links to the sway bar...…………..NO LUCK.The links supplied are 7/16 size thread with 1/2 x 13 nuts supplied. So now a trip to True Value to buy the correct size nuts.Would I buy this again, NOMiss advertised and hodgepodge of parts.

This transforms the truck from riding like a truck to handling like a sports car it keeps the rear end completely planted on hard corners and it makes it much more stable when towing or hauling a heavy load I wish I put this on years ago. My truck is a 2007 F250 with a 2 inch lift kit and the sway bar fits and works perfectly

Easy install and very noticeable improvement in handling. My F250 4x4 came with no rear sway bar and now it is very level through the turns. Don't have to hold onto the center console any longer. I look forward to towing our travel trailer with it.

It was easy to install, but like other reviews it did take a few times that you had to use both arms and a leg if you did it alone. No problem probably if you had two people doing it. My one wonder was why they sent double nuts for the U bolts when they used lock nuts on other bolts. Bought lock nuts and replaced them. Good ride quality and improved handling were immediate, but slight over steer took a few miles to get accustomed to.
