I got both the front and rear Hellwig sway bars for my 2008 JK. Was easy to install the front and got it all done easily in a weekend with time to spare (my Jeep is a rust bucket). Seems very nice, makes things less "white-knuckle" on the highway but I've only tried it at the "softest" setting so far. The links that it comes with are kind of weird (no ball joints just a bushing on both ends) but are a lot less annoying to work with. It's worth noting that this kit and the rear kit both come with the bushings and brackets... I bought 4 brackets separately without realizing xD.

Same diameter as stock. Has 3 holes to adjust firmness. Mount bushings fit a little loose so there is a little play in them. Much less play in the swaybar than the oem rubicon disconnectable bar. Handles really well now.

I have an 08 Wrangler Rubicon, after 98k miles and a lot of tough off roading and rock crawling, the factory two piece swaybar with the disconnect and bushings was completely shot. I was having trouble staying in my lane much less changing lanes at 55mph. I installed the Hellwig 7749 and the Jeep feels better than new. I can safely and comfortably change lanes at 70 plus MPH again. Great product, easy install. I just wish they included a couple stickers so I could advertise for them.

I'm sure Jeep purists, those that purchase a Jeep to be used as a Jeep would hate this bar, but for the rest of us, this thing is AWESOME!!! I don't fear driving my Jeep at highway speeds any more. I don't have issues going around roundabouts any more. The stability of my Jeep is unbelievable now. Well worth the price. Hitting the brakes on rough roads doesn't cause me to fear for my life any more. I put both the front & rear sway bars on.The only problem I had was that Hellwig mis-labeled the box. I ordered the sway bar for stock height but the box contained the 3-5 inch lifted kit. I had to contact them and have them send the proper end-links. They got the replacement parts on the way quickly. I used the stock end-links in the meantime.

A must have for jku. Body roll gone, wind deflection drastically improved, and much tighter steering. Have nothing but good to say, this thing is heavy duty! Just an fyi, have mine set at around 30 degree upward angle and is much improved on performance.
