From our home in Norway, Helly Hansen has been making professional grade gear to help people stay and feel alive for more than 140 years. It all started in 1877 when sea captain Helly Juell Hansen found a better way to stay protected from the harsh Norwegian elements. Soon thereafter, Captain Hansen and his wife Margrethe launched a business producing waterproof oilskin jackets, trousers, sou’westers and tarpaulins made from coarse linen soaked in linseed oil – and the legend was born!

Jest to dokładnie taki plecak, jakiego mi brakowało w moim zestawie do najróżniejszych podróży. Jest to po prostu worek z wydzieloną kieszenią na komputer. Plecki są sztywne, a poza tym można go odpowiednio "wypchać" tak, aby był przy mniejszej ilości płaski, albo wypełniony po brzegi i wtedy bardzo dobrze ubrania się rozkładają. Zdjęcie idealnie odzwierciedla produkt. Podoba mi się brak nachalnego logo firmy, a subtelnie ukryte paski odblaskowe zwiększają bezpieczeństwo. Plecak można otwierać od góry, ale także zapewnić sobie dostęp otwierając zamek z boku (tak, jakbyśmy otwierali torbę poziomą) - jest również po tej stronie rączka, która ułatwia pakowanie do schowka bagażowego. Wygodnie układa się na plecach, a zapinka utrzymująca szelki poprawia ustawienie sylwetki. Od zewnętrznej strony jest niewielka (sięgająca do połowy wysokości plecaka) kieszeń na rzeczy pierwszej potrzeby. Na pewno nie jest on w pełni wodoodporny, a więc nie zachęcam do używania go w silnym deszczu. Jednak lekkie opady czy mżawka nie będzie sprawiała dla niego większego problemu. Produkt po otrzymaniu przerósł moje oczekiwania - co do wielkości, prezencji oraz jakości wykonania. Być może to pierwszy zachwyt, ale uważam, że w przypadku chęci pakowania np. ubrań na wyjazd, forma jednej dużej przestrzeni jest znacznie lepsza niż plecaki z milionem rozmaitych schowków i kieszonek, które - fakt - porządkują, ale także zabierają niepotrzebną przestrzeń i zwiększają wagę. Posiadam podobnych gabarytów plecak "miejski" firmy rBag i gdy chodzi o możliwość spakowania ubrań, ten tutejszy ma jakieś 300% pojemności w stosunku do tamtego, który za to ma mnóstwo kieszonek. Jeżeli potrzebujesz takiego uzupełnienia swojego zestawu podróżnego, myślę, że jest to produkt warty rozważenia.
