Soon thereafter, Captain Hansen and his wife Margrethe launched a business producing waterproof oilskin jackets, trousers, sou’westers and tarpaulins made from coarse linen soaked in linseed oil – and the legend was born!

Helly Hansen is an AWESOME company, and I have purchased numerous products for them, e.g., rain jackets, beanies, boots, and an umbrella. Their gear is definitely waterproof and keeps me warm.I purchased this particular jacket and the only thing I do not like is there are no pockets. Otherwise, it is perfect. The jacket is light weight and keeps me dry and warm.

I got this for my boyfriend for work he is a landscaper but also does driveways and patio. This jacket is perfect he can move around in it, doesn’t get ruined working with pavers, stays dry and it fits big to wear over outfit and take off when rain stops without having to change
