If you ride, this is a great addition to any house or garage. It came about 3 days earlier than at first determined, that's a good sign. Next, it got here and the box looked like it had been thru the tumble cycle on a dryer. You can see from a couple of the pictures what the box looked like. This is no reflection on the seller or Amazon, it was the delivery people. Next, I opened the box, surprisingly, everything was there, and there were instructions that were really easy to follow. (You really don't need them, if you are the least mechanically inclined, but I like having them) Another surprising thing was that there was not a scratch on anything, I don't see how they were not scratched up from the beating the box obviously took, but even the wood was pristine. Putting it together was a breeze and mounting it was no problem either. I mounted mine near the front door, so when I walk out, I just grab whichever helmet, jacket, chaps, gloves, boots or ball caps I need. I like the fact I can put mine up and the granddaughter can put hers on the other side. We did have to put 2 helmets on the center piece, so we could have our summer and our winter helmets on it, but that is no problem. Now we don't have to hunt all over the house for her helmet when we get ready to go. I promise that it will hold the 220 lbs that they say it will. In my pictures, I have a medium full face and half face helmet, a 2-XL full face and half face helmet, 3 sets of gloves, communication gear (wired), 2 sets of size 14 EEE boots, a 3-XL lined leather jacket and chaps (I am 6' 4" tall and about 210 lbs, I am a fairly large puppy), 2 leather vests, 3 hats and a do rag. The jacket alone probably has half a cow of leather in it, so it's really heavy. The wall mount unit is well built, came with everything they promised, good instructions and plenty of room. I did mount the middle mounting inserts into a stud in the wall for support, but the outsides are just in the sheetrock.

Motorcycle Helmet Holder and Gear Stand arrived nicely packaged and without damage to the box. Upon opening the box, all hardware, accessories and installation manual was present and accounted for. The boards of wood are wrapped in plastic and the accessories and screws are in separate bags. The metal frames however, are loosely zip tied together. Upon removing all pieces, I found that the metal frame has scratches and will require touch up. Assembly was straightforward and did not take long as it is 19 screws. The shelving unit is very sturdy once assembled.I feel that the helmet holder arms could have been extended outwards and upwards more as the helmet is resting/touching/running against the metal mount and eating on the metal frame instead of being fully supported from the inside using the wooden puck and helmet padding. If you have an oversized helmet, ie. Dirt or dual sport, it will be bumping against the wall and resting at a downward angle instead of more horizontal as with a street helmet. To avoid scratching the helmet, you will have to carefully rest and remove the helmet instead of just being able to place it on the puck without it touching anything else.The tabs for the shelves are welded on and are non adjustable. The left shelf installed flat, however the right shelf is not flush with the frame. It is still securely mounted, just final finish is less than perfect. The supplied screwdriver is hard to use as it has raised texture that makes gripping it to tighten the screws aggravating. I tossed it to the side and used a soft grip longer screwdriver and had no problem with any of the screws.I'm somewhat satisfied with this motorcycle helmet holder, but I feel the item description pictures are misleading (ie helmet size and position) and quality control needs to be increased. If you are planning on putting it in the garage then it's perfect, but if you are looking to use it more as a display, it might require touch up.

I have recently embraced the idea of minimalism and have therefore been buying alot of stuff to help me deal with the fact that I have tooooooo much stuff. This helmet organizer is one of the purchases in that regard which actually makes sense. My husband rides motor bikes and our son, a big boy, no longer needs training wheels on his bike and fusses about wearing a helmet but still needs to anyway. Before, these things didn't really have a place, which is my clutter trigger. When things don't have a place they end up all over the place. Having this in the hall by our front door gives helmets, jackets, bookbags and even fitted hats a place where they belong. It helps keeps my house that much neater, helped me identify stuff that nobody really wanted anymore and took away any excuse my son could ever have about why he doesn't have on his helmet....yay, yay and yaaaaayyyy!!!This shelf also looks good. I like the wood and wrought iron and though its naturally a rustic effect it lends itself well to any aesthetic. The shelf is strong as well. Its a very simple design but its as strong as the stud you screw it into, lol. I give this five stars!

This is a sturdy, well designed riding gear organizer that can hold and store a lot of equipment. This looks great with a black powder coat type finish and wood shelves. It arrived undamaged, and was very easy to assemble and hang on the wall. I did bend the helmet holders out a bit more to allow more room for the helmet to clear the wall, but that took maybe five minutes, so no big deal. This looks great, and really does hold a ton of gear. I put mine in the hall between my bedroom and my roommate's, and we can both just easily grab our gear as we head out, which is great. I think this is a good product at a good price, and worth your consideration for purchase.

This thing is so cheap made, the size it shows in the pictures is no where near the actual size you get. Helmets don’t even fit without bending arms.

I was looking for away to keep our bike gear away from the garage. Found this nice rack. It is wonderful to keep all the helmets, gloves and gear in one spot.
