The head of the fork is good. It's pretty wide and has a bit of a curve, which makes it better than other bamboo forks, which tend to be flat. But the handle is too short. It's more the length of a teaspoon than something you would use for eating.

This is exactly what I've been looking for to retrieve toast and bagels safely out of the toaster. The new toaster I have doesn't lift the toasted items high enough to easily grab. I don't like getting burnt fingers and the family freaks out when I try to use a metal fork to grab it. I have wooden tongs and all they do is frustrate me because of the lack of being able to make them wide enough to grab anything wider than a hair. Then I got some disposable wooden forks thinking they would work, but they turned out to have blunt ends, so I had to stab the bagels a million times before I could get it to poke into it enough to lift it out. But even when I got a hold of it, the tines didn't go deep enough, so it would fall off the fork before it made it to my plate. Then I found this reusable wooden fork. It has sharp tines and it's normal sized. It works great for my needs. And, the bonus is that it's nice looking too.

So I was expecting a mixing fork, but this is more the size if a standard dinner fork. Beautiful wood however.

It was very small- too small for an adult to cook with. My 7 year old granddaughter will love it, though.
