LOVE this suit. I typically wear a full wetsuit but my recent weight gain wasn't letting me wear them comfortably I ordered this last min and so glad i did. Shipped quickly, fit is great and was Very comfortable to dive in. Im 5'1" and 150lbs. the 12 was tight enough to hold the seal and stay warm with out being uncomfortable. Loved the front zipper for easy entry/exit of suit. These suits are made for women, possibly shorter women as this is the first time ive had a suit that wasn't too long. I had also ordered a 14 in the rear zipper. It was just a bit too big in the openings and wouldn't have held the seal, but also a great suit.

Pretty well fits but slight gap at top and neck. Probably should have ordered a petite.

Finally found a wetsuit that fits & is easy to put on. Nice chunky front zip. Comfortable to wear, with lots of stretch.

I got my first Henderson Zip Shorty a couple years ago for snorkelling on the Big Island. It was SUPERB! There is simply no easier style for getting into and out of a wetsuit on hot, steamy days or peeling them off when they're all wet. It's super easy to step into one of the legs and then zip the shorty up as high as you like. There is JUST the right amount of give in the armpits so you can swim but not fill the suit with water. It's a brilliant design, actually. The 3mm thickness was absolutely perfect for swimming in HI's water - where temps averaged 71-74F for us.After each use, I'd faithfully soak, then rinse the suit out with special neoprene detergent, then roll it in a beach towel and hang it up to dry in the shower stall. It would be clean, fresh, dry and ready to use within a couple hours - even in a humid place.I wore a long-sleeved rashguard under mine for extra sun protection, but otherwise, was totally warm enough with great flexibility for swimming in this garment. At the end of our 3-mo stay in HI, I donated my Henderson - and the dive shop nearly cried for joy!Flash forward 2 years, and I bought the identical suit for snorkelling on Kauai! If I was psychic, I never would've donated the last one, and now I'm going to be an optimist and keep this one!CAVEAT!!! Be sure to soak, WASH, rinse your suit out before you try it on - seriously! I just wore mine for 10-15 min day one and woke up later that night with a shorty-shaped RASH on my skin. I only read about neoprene reactions after that - and immediately washed my new shorty. Err on the cautious side, cuz that was the one and only time I got a rash, and you can avoid that if you just wash it first.Of course, if you don't want to remove the tags, you could also try your wetsuit on with a "skin" underneath - but be sure to wash that garment then to avoid any neoprene reaction.

I was very happy when I received this wetsuit as it fit well. I use it for pool swimming as I get rather cold in public pools. For the first month all was good...I was much warmer and happy. Then the wetsuit got looser so I added a thermal swim shirt underneath. Now (having had it for less than 3 months, I feel cold all the time. I rinse it out with a chlorine remover after each swim....not sure what else I can do.

This product fit well. I really liked having the zipper in the front—made getting the suit on and off very easy. I did not find the material to be very insulating—I am very sensitive to cold water. I tried this suit in a cold, northern lake and still felt the temperature of the water indeed!

I love this wetsuit! I am about 5 feet tall and 155 pounds and the 14 petite fits like a comfy glove! It is surprisingly stretchy so would have good fit flexibility. All my past wetsuits were too long in the torso and not snug enough at the neck so there was excess water inside the suit and ongoing water exchange around the neck, decreasing warmth. This is the first petite I have found and it is perfect! It even slims one's profile, as an added plus. In some places I had to tug the suit together with a degree of effort to zip it, but it settled back into place, comfortably adding some control over contours! I also liked the front zip feature, which opens all the way to the bottom on the left front leg. Easy to put on and take off. Amazon, please carry more womens petite wetsuits in longer lengths and different thicknesses! Highly recommended.

I bought this wet suit in a women's plus size 24 for a trip to the Galapagos in November. Although the boat provided wet suits, I didn't think they would have one that would fit me (which was true). This shorty was perfect and easy to pack. The water temps ranged from high 60's to 72 F. I was able to snorkel comfortably for each hour-long excursion due to this 3mm product. The construction of the front zipper made getting in and out far easier than my companions struggling with their long, back-zipped suits. Quality seems very high after using it for 7 days in a row; don't know how long it will last, of course. I'm so happy I made this purchase. Good fitting wet suits for plus size women are difficult to find, unfortunately.

My favorite feature is the diagonal zipper that makes putting this wet suit on such a pleasure!!!! It's also very durable with woven nylon inside and out. The zipper is durable, large, very easy to use. And thank goodness this suit is made for plus size women! That said, I felt the sizing was large. I meticulously followed the sizing instructions and ordered what should have been the right size but had to return it. Fortunately, Amazon makes returns easy. I'll be going with a size smaller with hopes that it will then fit appropriately 'like a glove'. The women's suit is contoured appropriately. I will be using it for extending the endurance swimming season outside a few more months.
