This is such a handy decorating icing gun for all things baking! I love to bake but I don’t love decorating things such as cakes and other things that require using a pastry bag and icing tips. I love that icing gun is made from stainless steel that will never rust and is dishwasher safe. The materials used are of great sturdy construction that should last for years to come. I like that it comes with two different sized couplers so it can work with most icing tips. The muffin liners that also come in this set are a nice addition and they feel like they’re made from good quality silicone. I would definitely recommend this handy decorator icing gun for all things baking!

I really like it when your tool makes your task easier and it’s made well. I found it with the Hendiy decorating metal syringe piping system. It’s easy to use and feels very durable with a strong stainless steel cylinder. It has a top push down trigger for injection into the nozzle. Interchangeable nozzles are secured in place with a quick twist of a nut. I tried using the plastic bag method to pipe frosting but it took more skill than what I had as a novice. I decided to try using this metal cylinder piping kit and the first time was a charm. I baked English Duchess Potato Swirls that pipes mash potato using this product. It was fun and easy to use this device making this beautiful looking swirling food item. It was quick to disassemble then toss into the dishwasher for cleaning. It certainly saves money not having to buy those expensive V shaped plastic piping bags. I would like to add that if more than one color of frosting is used, this metal cylinder would need to rinsed first before switching to your other color frosting. Overall, I loved the results of using the Hendiy decorating metal syringe.

I have always dreaded having to decorate cakes and cupcakes because I never had the right equipment. When our kids were young, I collected little aluminum decorating tubes that I found at the thrift shops, which came with a limited number of tips. They were fun for the kids to decorate with. The problem was that if you left the icing in the tubes for very long, it tasted like aluminum. Many years later, I graduated to a kit with reusable silicone bags and lots of tips to make fancy designs. The problem with that was that if you left the icing in the silicone bags for very long it tasted like silicone. I've now found the perfect tool for my skill set and it has made decorating more fun than it ever was before. This stainless steel icing gun resolves all the negatives of my previous tools. There is no off flavor to the icing, even if I have to pause in the middle of a project and leave it in the refrigerator for a while. The mechanism works smoothly, although it dispenses a lot with each full plunge; working with my young grandson, I have to keep a close eye on how much icing he is putting on the cake. The tip connection is good and tight and no icing leaks out around the joint; it's super easy to disassemble and clean. It comes with 6 tips, which may limit your creativity somewhat, but I discovered that the tips from my silicone set fit this gun perfectly, so I have practically unlimited options for cake decorating, more than the scope of my creative talents. For this price, I don't know why I didn't get one of these years ago.

This review is for the Hendiy Dessert Decorating Syringe Set. This is a great set with a good assortment of tips. It was easy to fill the cylinder and pipe my cream cheese frosting on my red velvet cakes. I did not use the silicone cupcake liners that came with this kit as I had already made my cupcakes in my square liners but the ones from this kit are thicker so I’m sure they will work well too. Easy to disassemble for cleaning. Overall a good value and I’m looking forward to learning how to use all of the tips.

I love this. Now, I enjoy decorating cupcakes and small stuff, but I usually just wing it with disposable bags and tips and really don't know what I am doing 80% of the time. So, when I received this tool set, I am actually motivated to improve! I've only tested it once, and I find it to be "another thing to clean and store" versus disposable bags, BUT I think it's worth it for this novice! A pro might scoff at a tool like this, but for me it's great. Also, I think this would be great for kids!
