To be fair and honest, this product sucks. There is not enough foam on the inside to hold a firearm in place. The shell is flimsy and will not maintain its integrity once the case is filled. I gave it the old college effort by buying more foam to put on the inside. The foam cost as much as this case. Avoid this product and buy something better.

Gun case has a large gap between the foam when you pick case up you can here gun moving inside, as purchased gun case is worthless, u tried a different gun thinking it was fluke, but same problem

My case damaged as still works like a charm! The inside is SO....NICE....it has a black foam you can cut around and enough storage for a main weapon AND wa firearm. If you're into smaller guns you'd loved this, it could store like...5 sub machine guns if they were "tactical" enough. It stores more. It has 4 locks. FOUR. Two keys in case you lose one. This is a great buy. If you have something yo udint want collecting dust and to preserve it, perhaps keep things away and organized, this is for you. My only gripe is that it's like a briefcase, so if you stand up with it, you'll hear everything fall inside upon tilting. As long as you fasten your stuff down you should be fine. This can be used for anything, rifles, guitars, music equipment etc. This is a great trunk because it's sleek, fits anywhere, and it RELIABLE.
