Fáciles de instalar y hacen su trabajo, pero tal cual como otras reseñas comentan, el plástico se siente de mala calidad y en un clima en donde el sol sea inclemente, dudo que dure mucho antes de tener que reemplazarlas.

Nice, relatively sturdy unit. Perfect replacement for the old unit. Should come with butyl rubber sealing compound and screws. I had to buy those separately at hardware store

I am giving this product 5 stars because its fine and most people will not run into this issue but I bought this exact same product last year for a different vintage camper I was fixing up and this time the inner plastic lining was shorter than the last time, it made no difference because i had not cut anything yet but if I used last year's product as a guide I would have had a problem.

i bought this for a very old trailer so i did not want to spend a lot of money on it but i had already replaced it once with the plastic topped one. but i installed it backwards and even though it was closed the wind ripped it open and it tore off. i much prefer the metal topped vent as the plastic did not seem to hold up to the sun very well. its a little more money and although it does not let any light in, i did not need the light i needed something water proof. the value for the money with shipping was a little up there but i guess you dont get much for your money anymore

Super nice looking vent, the difference in light coming in and appearance in my RV is beyond expectations. Easy to install, but not fun to remove the old ones useless you love digging through old sealer. lol my only concern is they seem a little flimsy. Time will tell how they hold up to the weather.

Have installed 3 of these Heng's vents so far with no problems. The hardest part of the installation was scraping off the old roof sealer to gain access to the old mounting screws. Once everything is scraped and cleaned, the new vent goes on easily. Hint: Before you put in the first screw, make sure the vent is centered over the opening. Test fit the INSIDE flange to see if the vent is centered in the inside flange when looking up at the vent from INSIDE the RV. There is a very good youtube video on vent installation by Dicor Lap Sealants. I used Dicor on all 3 vent installations with excellent results.Search youtube: "How to install and seal an RV roof vent using Dicor Lap Sealants"Only gave this item 4 stars because the overall quality of roof vents in general has come down over the years. (Thinner plastic thinner aluminum.)UPDATE: After less than 2 years in the Nevada sun, the plastic covers have cracked. I just replaced the original plastic covers with "Heng's 90114-1 14" Universal Metal Roof Vent Cover". These are available on Amazon and are easy to install. No more cracked plastic covers! To be clear - you just get the metal cover nothing else. If you live in a 'sunshine area' you might consider buying a metal cover along with the 69632 roof vent kit. Swap out the plastic cover for the metal one right away before installing. The plastic covers really are thin and are NOT UV PROOF. The metal covers make it darker inside, but it's worth the piece of mind knowing the covers are intact and secure. I'd hate to be in a hail storm with those plastic covers!July 2018 Update: Some minor rust is starting appear on the covers. The rust is not a concern at this point. Rain started to drip through a cross bar rivet on one metal cover. A few dabs of silicone sealed the all rivets. Inspect the metal covers before installation. If any of the crossbar rivets look deformed or crooked, put some sealer on the rivets to avoid a leak problem later on.
