The short story, it won't get off the ground. As cute as it may be, the total amount of time we had it in the air was about 1 minute at a time. I purchased another diamond shaped kite that had a really long tail that ended up flying the whole time (about an hour) before we decided to head home. Our wind conditions were moderate with wind speeds ranging from 5-15 mph. I can't recommend this kite because it would not get up in the air after all our failed attempts and another one with similar shape did just fine under the same conditions.

I was happily surprised by the quality, and flying ability of the sky. We bought a half dozen kites to fly and this one did the best. Good size for children, works really well for adults as well. I would suggest and would buy another.

It was a fun purchase. It was not the highest flying kite or the biggest kite at the local kite festival but it got the job done and it was super cute.
