This is a suitable case for the DDJ REV1, fits nicely and tightly. Got this for my 14 year old girl who does kids parties but does not like the weight of a hard case to carry around her REV1. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This Hermitshell EVA Case is awesome for Pioneer Ddj Rev 1 or Ddj SB3 or Ddj 400. Ones you put your controller in the case it can also put it back inside the original box of DDj Rev 1. See pictures to prove it can. Value for your money better for your gear.# DJPEYMOUZ

After a long time of searching for a case for my new Pioneer Rev1 I took a chance on this case. I did not plan on buying a case for more or even near the price of the unit (ridiculous). In the reviews a customer had already tried it with a controller like mine and it worked so the was reassuring.Well true to his word this work perfectly for the Rev1. I was very happy with the quality as well. This is built well with lots of internal padding and it's hard enough to protect what's inside. There is also a bit of space on the side to for some cords. For the price this is a steal.

I got this because it says in the description that the interior space is 3.5" in thickness/height. That's exactly the height Korg lists in the specs of the Odyssey Module which I planned for this case to hold. It's quite tight at the thickest point. The Odyssey Module is a wedge shape sloping thicker towards the back end. The module fits and and this case zips closed ok if you hold the lid down and sides together while zipping, but it is tighter than I would have liked. Otherwise it's a good case and a good value. It seems like it's fairly tough, well made, and hopefully will hold up over time. The egg crate foam is thick and stiff. I'm keeping this and will use it for the Odyssey Module until something better comes along. As with any of these eva cases, it's not meant as a substitute for a flight case or something more rugged like a Pelican or Nanuk, just mainly for storage and light transport duties. Or in my case (no pun intended) to fit snugly inside a larger more rugged Pelican case with other individually eva-cased devices. I took a star off for the accuracy of the internal size description. In reality it's closer to 3" rather than the listed 3.5". If the item you want to put into this case is 3.5" thick at every corner (unlike the Odyssey Module) I would definitely skip this case and continue your search for something else.
