My grandma made this for me, it is very soft and large. I'm currently using it as a rug and it's very nice

Just finished this one, and it turned out really pretty. However, there is something to be aware of. This kit and my cherry blossom kit came with the canvas the wrong way. My son worked on this one so we didn’t notice he was hooking on the twisted lines until it was too late. It’s still fine, just more give, which might be good for pillows or on the wall. This is way too big to be a pillow though, so we’ll see if it ends up being annoying or damaged easily as a rug. So just be aware and double check your canvas. Now that I know, I will turn my cherry blossom kit so I’m hooking the correct line. It will run my rows different, but I’m curious what difference it will make. I have a feeling it won’t be a big deal. My son disagrees with me and I’ve actually read a lot of complaints about this. My solution? If I don’t like it, and I get more kits going the wrong way like that, I will just buy new canvas, and use the canvas from the kit for smaller projects. No biggie to me, so still 5 stars for how pretty it turned out. I noticed this company’s latch hooks turn out way lighter colored than pictured. In this case, I liked it better (not so much for a dragon kit I did once). My son also says the yarn feels softer than other brands too. FYI The yarn comes in plastic baggies. I personally like my yarn to come in the tightly bound round type, but to each his own. Recommend this one for ease and very pretty.
