The construction is ok. Size is big enough to store 1 tube, a multitool and a tire glyder which is all I need for roadside bike problems

I bought this for my beach cruiser and keep a few key tools, and some first aid supplies. Looks and feels like quality material. It also looks very cool and fits the aesthetic of the bike.

For the amount paid, I wasn’t expecting something this quality. And it holds my wrench sets + spare tube and still has room. Classy looking on my bike. Really happy with it. The belt straps doesn’t make it v easy to get to things, but it sure secures things in properly however bumpy the road. Tip: Use it to store things that you don’t need frequent access to - e.g. spare tube and less frequently used tools.Excellent merchant. Super fast shipping. Product arrived as advertised - in fact better than in photos shown.

Love this leather bag. I can carry the necessary tools and miscellaneous items I need for my ebike rides. I looks great mounted on my bike handlebars .

I love it. mind you my seat hooks are a tad off set from the cuts on this but it works well. Actually I prefer the buckles just for the reason putting some small tire change tools in and other items and the stiffness of the leather straps threading the buckle make it a bit of work to undo. So I am not too worried about someone trying to snag it on a short break to walk into a store. one less thing to carry.

I haven’t yet put this bag through it’s paces. It hangs off the back of my saddle filled with just in case tools. The leather is substantial enough in the case it’s self. I don’t have much confidence in the straps however. They seem like they would break pretty easily with more consistent usage.

The saddle to which this bag is to go on has not yet arrived, so this review may be considered tentative in nature.Mine came today, directly from someplace in India through Registered mail, VERY well packed and in perfect condition. Registered mail takes more time so be patient, as this added service ensures it has not been lost/stolen in some foreign post office somewhere. The Indians and Pakistanis make VERY good leather products, a fact I know from purchasing several such items in the recent past. This bag is slightly wider than a U.S. dollar bill, with a diameter about the size of a can of vegetables. In other words, the right size for a bicycle saddle, and about the size of the cylindrical pencil cases you see for sale at the beginning of every school year. The straps are a half-inch wide, which is surprising since I'd assumed they'd be closer to a round metric dimension. They are not - they are a HALF INCH wide, spaced 3-1/4" apart, center-of-strap to center-of-strap. They are meant to hold the bag closed via the buckles shown in the photo, as well as hold the bag to the saddle. There are cut-outs in the bag's top flap (you can't see them in the photo) through which the straps are "leaved," where it's obvious they're intended to get looped through the small d-rings on a saddle. It doesn't look like they were meant to loop around handlebars, though there is enough excess strap to possibly allow this. The bag itself is made of chrome-tanned (soft) top grain cowhide, in about 4-5oz thickness. The entire thing is sewn and the stitching looks to be of good quality. The rivets are strong and the riveting is done in a thoughtful way, so as to remain strong for a long time and be repairable (if you know how to repair leather, which you should). The bag flap is not the same piece of leather as the body - the flap is sewn on. This allows use of smaller pieces of leather and probably contributes to its low cost. The ends are the same leather as the body of the bag, but each cap has the nice addition of a 1/8" piece of rawhide glued to it to provide stiffness. In other words, this bag will retain its shape and tools/sharp objects won't poke through the ends. This is a bag that will likely outlast your bicycle. As for the looks, it looks exactly like the photo. Very retro, very attractive.Summing up, this is the Platonic Ideal of saddle tool bags, and the quality is superior to its cost.GO BUY IT.
