These fit right into our kayaks, and the threads worked, too. However, about halfway through the day when we had to dump some water from the kayak, they did not stay in correctly. The water washed it out, never to be found.

Bought for the price since Ronstan plugs are so expensive. They fit Nacra and Hobie cats. It's a tight fit for either. I can tell they're not cross threaded because there's no damage to the thread after I cranked them in. Just tight.Not sure about the washer on them. Very soft rubber seals well. Only time will tell how well they last. A 5 cent o ring will fix it if need they don't

I bought these as a replacements for the drain plugs on Bison coolers. The photo looked like a match and they were the exact same plugs that came with my coolers. Perfect fit.

cheap as dirt, and you get a bunch of 'em, and they fit my hobie cat 16 just fine, so i can't really complain. but i *did* lose one in my yard, just manhandling the trailer around, and taking off one of the hulls to do the bottom. so maybe take 'em out (or screw 'em in all the way) if you'll be driving
