This is a much better thread holder than the square one I have. The rotation is wonderful and the pegs were easy to assemble. I tapped slightly with a hammer on each so they are not going to come off when removing a spool of thread. I'm very happy with this purchase.

iT WAS BROKEN WHEN I RECEIVED IT. DON'T KNOW IF IT HAPPENED IN TRANSIT OR NOT. TRYING TO FIX IT :(

It’s sturdy, and beautifully made. It doesn’t need to be sanded and rotates perfectly. The dowels fit in tightly but my husband added a touch of wood glue because it will be used a lot. I am very happy with my purchase!

Unbelievable quick delivery! I received this stand this morning and found the stand in perfect shape. No cracks in the wood and thought it looked like a well made piece. Well sanded and no sharp edges. I'm just going to put some wood putty on the screws on the top and then paint it. The pegs do need to be glued in place but that can be easily done. I just can't wait to start using it. I actually like it much better than the square thread stands that I found listed. I will be using this for machine embroidery thread and those are bigger spools than regular sized spools of thread. This will work so much better than having all my different colors of thread that I am using on a project spread out on the surface around me. If you machine embroider you know all the different colors you use while embroidering. To be able to keep 72 colors at my fingertips on this stand will be amazing. I have at least 300+ spools of thread and to keep 72 that I'm using at the time in a relatively small area is truly amazing to me. I love being organized and look forward to using this stand for a very long time. Now just to get it painted and pegs glued in as quickly as I can. I would recommend this product to any other embroiderer. I will be showing off this stand to others as soon as I get it done.

Nice holder but I had to glue the pegs in and 2 pegs were missing and I cannot find how to get the pegs needed

Love shape but I’ve had to sand and also modify pegs with gorilla glue because they are loose enough to be sloppy. I also modified top to give a lip to store something on top…I do like the spinning function— spinning platform is not too robust but it’s not going to need to do much weight either, so it seems to work fine! I wish I could have access to the center for storing a couple of big thread cones…,but I decided I loved the five sided one more than I wanted square one with door to middle!
