This is actually pretty sleek. I like how it feels in my hand. The latch seems firm and reliable. It opens into an accordion kind of case with slots for each of the card-like items it contains. All of the print is very readable, and the clear cards are further protected by a mostly transparent layer. There's a card in there reminding me to remove the protective layer, but it seems usable the way it is. The magnifying lens card is handy and easy to use. I like the compact size and the variety of uses it contains. Overall, this is a nice little tool with plenty of functionality packed in.

This makes a trip to the hardware store more definitive; no more guessing on size and coming back with several sizes hoping one will fit. Nicely assembled in a carrying case that can easily fit in a pocket. A bit trickier to use than the ones with physical bolts and threads (you'll want your reading glasses if you wear them) but much more portable.

This took a little time to arrive, but it was worth the wait. There are multiple tools for measuring HW included. While I probably have each of the included tools as separate pieces, this item compiles them all together in one small metal case, which is extremely convenient. As you can see in the pics, there is a very accurate aluminum tool that measures both metric and standard hardware, and will tell you the size of the hex by measuring one flat on one side, or by measuring the total face of the bolt on the other side of the tool. The bottom of each side has concentric circles that indicate the actual bolt diameter. There are 2 separate clear plastic pitch gauges, and a handy magnifying glass for identifying smaller pitches. It has very clear instructions and is very intuitive to use. An extremely complete HW identifying kit, that measures up to 32mm metric, and 11/2" English. Convenient presentation, and extremely accurate.

This sizer is truly great. I have to source hex nuts for guitar parts every once in a while, and many times the nuts sold at the local hardware stores do not fit. This sizer will allow me to tell for sure the exact size and thread pitch, whether imperial or metric of what I need to replace. It comes in a very cool blue metal case, with a lanyard clip. That’s the only nonsensical thing, that the included clip can only attach to the metal sizer itself, not the carrying case for the whole set. The problem with that is how finely detailed the etching is on the metal; I would imagine it would be just too easy to damage. You can store the clip in the carrying case with everything else. Still, this set is compact, and you could just fit in a pocket of your jeans if you were so inclined. The case looks to me like something designed anywhere between the 1950s and 70s, and I love it. It just has the character of an almost 50s Modern aesthetic to it.It includes:An imperial / metric equivalent chartA sizing guide / instructionsThe metal sizer, with an imperial side and a metric sideA plastic magnifierA clear plastic imperial threads per inch measuring cardA clear plastic metric thread pitch measuring cardA cool looking carrying caseOne note: the carrying case did come with a scrape along the front. That’s not a big deal, but it’s something to know. This set is really handy for anyone who has to search for parts like this. If the kind of nut you need is available locally, it’ll save a bunch of time when you get to the store, but if you have to order the nuts you need, this sizer is essential. I highly recommend it.
