During the repair of the icemaker I was experiencing a little trouble with my stubby thumbs (fingers) and the tininess of the switch and wiring but I managed the repair well and it's been working great.

Bought these for a cassette deck but the switch pressure required proved to be so stiff that it wouldn't work out for my application. I'm sure it would work out well on appliance applications. Refund was smooth.

One of the microswitches on my NewAir Ice Maker showed closed all the time and did not click when I pressed the switch. Ordered the exact replacement part (4 in a pack) and replaced the faulty micro-switch, soldered in the leads. One thing to note, as others have, if you have a 2 contact switch with a common and a Normally Open, this switch will work just fine, just leave the NC (Normally Closed connection empty). Great purchase and now my ice maker is making ice again.

I was looking for a two pin switch just like this one and could not find one. This one worked perfectly, just remember to connect the wire to the correct terminal and take a picture before you remove the old one.
