The handle fit 3 of the 4 shovels that I had with broken handles. It was pretty much a remove and replace.

The handle had broken off a very old shovel completely. My handle shaft had been turned and narrowed. These replacement handles fit the narrower, turned upper part of the handle, NOT the shaft, which is a bit thicker. Unfortunately! Also, although attaching screws are shown in pictures here, the product does not come with screws.

The handle broke on my fav shovel. 45 for a new shovel or $5and change for the replacement. Perfect fit, 1 screw replacement. Fav shovel back in action!! Oh ya that was a 2 pack. I have one on deck for an emergency hahha.

So I wrapped duct tape around wood and put handle on so it fit tight. And more tape so it would stay on. As nail hole. Put nail in hole to finish securing new handle. Seems better than old one

What do you need to know? It was a deal to get two. Maybe I'll need a second. Maybe it'll sit on a shelf till the end of time.Anyway, if you need to replace a broken D handle, this one works great.

When your snow shovel has still got the scoop but the handle needs to get a handle on it, it is SO nice to be able to order online and have the option of choice products. The Heyiarbeit D Grip Handle is the perfect repair.It was very nice to not have to buy a whole new shovel.
