I only used it once and let me tell you. It saved lots of time and worked wonders. My empanadas came out good. The only thing is do not over stuff them. If you over fill it you can't close it properly. Thank You Amazon

I have Amish friends who make large fry pies, and this is the perfect size for them. A good value, and nice price break for buying more than one set.

I like this press very much, it gets the job done, great crimper and the right size... however it falls apart easily the hinges broke, this is not the first time nor my first press same problem with the others, the press is now in two pieces. I am trying to figure out how to fix it and add a more stronger pair of hinges. Overall the hinges definitely need to be made much stronger and more durable.

The product is as advertised, however, I purchased one intending on using it to make fried peach “hand” pies. I from the south. This product works fine but unfortunately is a bit bigger than I need for fried pies. It’s designed for empanadas an that’s what I’ll use it for.

It's great for what I needed it for...making keto empanadas. The thing is you can't use the tabs on the end pull the ends together to clamp the press or you'll break them off. They are really a light plastic. The rest of the press is pretty sturdy.

This product works great!. The dough doesn't stick to it and it makes things much much easier than trying to do things by hand. With that said, buy this only if you cannot find a more sturdy version that meets your needs. Within the past 2-3 months I've had to order 5 of these things for my mother's restaurant. It's extremely easy to break. It doesn't take much to snap the handles while pressing the dough. The hinges are almost guaranteed to break if you drop it. I'd never buy this again if I could find a more solid alternative.

While I have no doubt that this would be a great, time-saving and convenient product, I never even got to use it one time because, when it arrived and I took it out of the shipping box, I could hear small pieces rattling around inside its own packaging and I KNEW that the hinges were broken off before I even took it out.It was easy to return (postage paid) and to receive a refund, but I am actually considering trying it one more time. Here's the thing, I don't believe it was damaged in shipping. It may have been broken before it even left the merchant because it was packaged inside a thin box that it fit in very tight and snug, with no foam or bubble protection. The Amazon shipping container was securely packed with bubble insulation.I really want this item and can't find another 7 inch (or larger) press like it anywhere. I just don't know how gracious they would be if I returned the same item more than once... fool me once, shame on them, fool me twice, shame on me!
