Sie halten Salate perfekt über viele Tage frisch. Auch Kohlsorten, Lauch etc.. Ich habe schon einige dafür angepriesenen Beutel ausprobiert. Aber diese sind die Besten.

This is not to replace a salad spinner, folks. This is to keep lettuce fresh. Rinse your lettuce, put it, soaking wet, directly into the salad sac, and voila!...lettuce stays fresh and crisp for days and days and days. A wonderful product.

I loved NOT using a spin dryer .. I love washing and partially air drying and then putting produce in this bag ... only suggestion - dont overload the bag so too much wet is laying against wet. I tend to roll the produce once in the bag and store it in the refrigerator. I have 3 bags and I transfer the produce into a fresh bag every two days and dry out the other used bags. My produce never turns brown. I had them for over 2 years before I figured out how to use them and to trust the process.

I love these salad sacs and have four of them. I fix myself a chef salad everyday with a lot of different vegetables. I didn't start doing that until after i discovered these sacs and cannot imagine how i'd manage to keep all the veggies fresh without a sac. I can easily keep veggies a week and just have to remember to rinse everything off from time to time so as to keep the sac moist. If you care about fresh vegetables and don't eat them the same day you buy them, you will appreciate having these sacs. Just toss in the washer and dryer and they're ready to use again. Excellent product for me!!

I can't tell how well it works because I put salad greens in it, and they wilted, but when I sprayed them down with a bit of water they perked up. they lasted a few days before they began to wilt again,I have a feeling it will work well if you wash greens and shake them off just before storing - it does what you need - breathes and absorbs excess moisture.

Truly impressed at how well this works. I'm on a keto diet and have spinach salads almost every day. as-packaged spinach won't last a week without getting limp (in the best case) or becoming soft slimy sludge (in the worst case). Using this bag, fresh spinach keeps fresh for over one week. Eventually some leaves do get mushy, but I just throw those away and the remaining leaves are still crisp!IMPORTANT -- you must keep the bag moist, it's not enough just to keep it cool in the fridge. I forgot to "water" it and the spinach got limp and slimy just like plastic bags. I just sprinkle 1/4 cup of water on the top of the bag each day, and that does the trick. Doesn't need to be dripping, just keep it moist.

It may work fairly well, but it's just too darned big. I feel as though I've got a bath towel in my fridge. I don't really see why the bags need to be this large, nor why they need to be terry cloth instead of just cotton. A bag made of white cotton dish towel fabric works perfectly. As for me, I'm going back to just wrapping my lettuce up in a dish towel.

The salad sac didn't keep my salad any fresher than Tupperware or Ziploc containers. Plus the fabric made it easier to attract pet and human hairs, which may be fine for the individual, but it makes sharing the salad a bit uncomfortable! While it made transporting salad easier, it just isn't worth it.

Nothing to do with the seller. Product arrived on time and was well packaged...the product, on the other hand, sucks. Bought it to store lettuce but I did not realize I was buying a "towel with a drawstring". Could have made one myself...and, it pulled all the moisture out of my lettuce making the salad extremely dry and uneatable. My husband now uses it to transport his Ball Pythons since it wasn't worth the trouble to return it...back to my ziplock and paper towels.

Excellent Product!!! I was given one as a stocking stuffer from my Mom many years ago and never used it until about a year ago. I figured I might as well give it a try or throw it out. Loved it. It truly works. My lettuce lasts weeks in this bag. I kid you not. I now ordered 3 more so I have a total of 4 in my house. This way I can always have one clean when I buy new produce. I have only used it for lettuce but plan on trying it for vegetables. You wash your lettuce and stick in the sac wet. Easy and it truly keeps my lettuce crisp and fresh for a long time. I highly recommend this product.

I got the Salad Sac because I was tired of getting out the salad spinner and it took up too much room in the fridge. With the Salad Sac, you just wash off your lettuce, throw it in the bag and just pat it a little to get out some of the water. You can also use it for other vegetables as well. While it takes up less room than a salad spinner, it really doesn't work any better than one. It's not bad, but you do still have to use the salad within about four days or it will start to wilt.Overall, it's a pretty good product and I have started to eat more salads, but salad won't last forever in it.
