I was looking for an under screen storage unit for my 2025 Model Y Tesla and looked and looked. I decided on this one because it appeared to be the slimmest model when closed. It doesn’t inhibit the function of the charger base under the screen and was very easy to install. With just a touch in the front magnet, it opens easily and smoothly. With a little push it closes just as easy. Very satisfied!

Would date higher if the release was more consistent. Sometimes the lid is uneven when you open/close it. No big deal because i understand its just a cheap plastic convenience item. No regrets though

I liked the design of this under screen storage tray: folding arm with screw to secure it in place vs. magnets. It fit my 2025 MY. I wanted it to work. I returned the first tray because it only worked for 24 hr. then I had to repeatedly push the underside of the tray to open it or it wouldn't open at all and I had to remove the entire tray to get my sunglasses out. The second tray never worked well. One time I pushed ten times to it to open. The instructions are not helpful. I have no idea what the two magnetic discs are for. Returned the second one today. I'm done.

I added this to my 2024 Tesla Model 3. The packaging could be improved as the plastic was scuffed due to lack of packing material. It arrived with an installation guide for foot pedal covers instead of the one for this. Thankfully it’s simple enough to install. That said, there are rubber pads to rest against the underside of the dash for extra support… these are about 1/3” away from making contact. Not clear if it’s installed properly because of the manual issue. Also, there were two metallic disks without expiation about their use. It is discrete and might fit a model y or 2023 better than the highland.

I love accessorizing my vehicles. I enjoy adding more storage area. This is my first Tesla which already has great storage, but this was a nice easy addition to keep some small items nearby but also hidden in case i do have a break in. I recommend.
