All Hide & Drink leather products are handmade from rustic, durable, Full Grain Leather. Our Full Grain Leather comes from the top layer of the hide, and has all the natural full grain characteristics of the hide...hence the name. It's the best leather you can buy and the only leather that we use.
The flesh side of the soft leather is first stained with natural drab tone and finished with our proprietary beeswax conditioner. Our unique treatment helps the leather to retain its shape without the aid of synthetic stabilizers, offering a natural and durable look.

I purchased this leather “purse” as a case to store my kindle paper white. I am a man, so was a little worried about how it would look. Once I had it in hand, it looks more universal for everyone than for women only. As for the kindle? Fits perfectly! My kindle paperwhite has a clear silicone case and a pop socket attached. Fits like a glove, and couldn’t ask for anything better. My wife has the kindle basic (little smaller than the paperwhite) and it fits great as well, just not as “snug”. By no means do you have to force the kindle paper white into the case, but it is a very good fit. If the paperwhite was about a 1/2” longer, it wouldn’t fit.The quality is very nice, no offensive smell, and is absolutely just as nice as pictured. Try it out! You won’t be disappointed. And yes, it’s REAL leather, not “pleather” or “vegan leather” man made junk.

Hide + Drink always delivers beautiful, quality products. The leather is soft yet sturdy. The stitching is flawless. I love the clasp, but wouldn’t depend on it to stay latched. I rarely carry it alone. Usually put my phone and lip balm in it for easy access in my tote bag. Great product at a great price.

Leather is nice & thick. Quality clasp. Inside is unfinished/raw leather with no lining & no trim stitching inside. Smaller than I anticipated, does not hold much at all.
