One of the leather loops literally ripped completely off at the stitching. I switched back to my old bag, even though it has a small hole in the bottom, at least I am not worried it will just fall to the ground and hurt someone.

Firstly, this is a solid and beautiful piece and I really wish it worked for me! Smells amazing (leather) and the craftsmanship is gorgeous. However it does. Not. Close. (Closes maybe half way?) It is very stiff and I’ve tried like… massaging the material around the pull cord and no luck. Tried it for a few days to see if it loosened up, but will unfortunately be sending it back. Maybe water would help, but I do not want to risk damaging it and not being able to return it. I work at heights so we love chalk bags for our tools and personal items, so it’s gotta be able to close all the way. If it’s just for chalk it’s probably a great bag.
